Summery;
Three children living with their mother live in fear of her anger and cruelty. This book is written as a letter from the oldest kid, Matthew, to the youngest, Emmy, because she is to young to remember it all.

Audience;

People who like reading intense stories, and like suspense should read this book.

Opinion;

I really enjoyed this book, it was fast reading and had lots of suspense. I highly recommend it!

My opinion on this video is that i think it is extremely accurate. How a good teacher and a bad teacher make the same amount of money is wrong. I think the higher your students test grades are should determine how much you get paid. I also believe that the Ten Year Program is wrong, There should be no reason why you can't fire a teacher.In New York if a teacher molests, rapes, or abused a student they get have to be put into a little room for a couple years but yet they still get paid a teacher's salary, it's wrong. I also think that how they said basically that we are the dumbest nation but we rank number one in confidence is very true. Were nothing but a bunch of cocky people. I also think that it's messed up how some kids who actually want to learn can't cause they were not accepted. The no child left behind program is making us dumber. And that's pretty much it .:]

Summary:
This book is about the troublesome times of children going through abusive homes. Matthew and his sister do everything to protect their little sister Emmy from their mother's abusive tendencies. Until Murdoch come into the picture, but after Murdoch finds out their mother is abusive will he leave her and the children, or step up to the authorities? Will the children ever get out of this horrible situation? Read the book to find out!

People who may enjoy this book:
People who enjoy suspense or reading about abuse. People who have gone through this themselves, etc.

Opinion:
I loved this book, even though i haven't finished it yet. It's fast paced and keeps your attention and never gets boring.
